Analysis

The grammar formation is “Noun + 通り”:

  •     計画 means “a plan”
  •     通り means “just as”

Just saying 〜通り without making a sentence like Raito did expresses the exclamation of excitement.

Quote

Just as planned!

〜通り (just as …)

Please come at 7 o’clock as promised.
I lost all my money in gambling. Literally, I am penniless.
The results of the test was just as expected.
NOTE

The difference between 期待 and 予想 both meaning “expectation”:

期待 – focused on one’s feelings such as hope

予想 – focused on what you predict

テストの結果は期待通りだった – the result was just as good as expected (as nobody hopes for a bad result)

テストの結果は予想通りだった – the result was just as good/bad as expected (depending on what you predicted)
